The person who escaped from Hamilton Police Station has distinctive facial tattoos, and police are asking for assist to seek out him.
William Merrin, 24, fled from staffers on the Hamilton Police Station round 3pm on Monday, a press release mentioned.
He’s harmful and shouldn’t be approached, and has hyperlinks to each Hamilton and Te Awamutu.

The canine unit is trying to find the person who absconded police custody on Monday afternoon.
When Merrin escaped from the station on Anzac Parade, he was carrying shorts and a black Adidas high.
He has a particular tattoo above his proper eye and one other on his left cheek – not pictured within the picture from police – which is described as linked writing.
The highest of his hair has been dyed blonde.
He’s described as being 180cm tall and of slight construct.
Anybody who has seen Merrin or is aware of the place he could be is urged to name 111.
Police and canine items have been seen scouring town for the lacking man.
