Scotland’s Chief Medical Officer proved he has no concern of needles as he was given his AstraZeneca jab – revealing an enormous tattoo on his arm.
Dr Gregor Smith revealed a powerful inking of Asclepius, the Greek god of medication, after posting an image of his vaccine appointment.
Sharing the pic on Twitter, he stated: “Received my first dose OxAZ vaccine as we speak from Nicole (DN) and Jack (Dentist).
“Beautiful slick course of @NHSLanarkshire and nice data from vaccinators.
“I’m so very grateful to all of the workforce concerned in planning and supply of this – thanks! Wonderful job.”
In a while Monday, after his Twitter submit had brought on fairly the stir, Dr Smith shared extra footage of his tattoo together with his followers.
Sharing two new photographs, he wrote: “They’re very private & right down to the talent of Vali Stefan. On my arm is Asclepius (god of medication) & on my chest, his father, Apollo (god of therapeutic, illness, music and light-weight) together with his solar chariot.”
