You are on a mad search. Kiely Rodni The discussion continues in Tahoe After attending a weekend party, the 16-year old disappeared into thin air on Tuesday.
Kiely was last seen around 1:30 a.m. on August 6 near the Prosser Family Campground It is located approximately 10 minutes from Truckee. The Placer County Sheriff’s Office says she was at a party with “more than 100 juveniles or young adults.” Her silver Honda CRV CRV 2013 is also gone. She has had her cell phone disconnected since then.
The sheriff’s office and FBI are treating the case as a possible abduction because Kiely’s vehicle is still missing. Search-and-rescue crews fanned out to the region on Monday in search of Kiely. For aerial sweeps of the I-80 corridor, Donner Summit to Nevada border, a helicopter was used.
The sheriff’s office released a statement on Monday, saying that Kiely and her car are missing despite all the resources used. “We are currently coordinating with the California Highway Patrol, Truckee Police, FBI, and the Nevada County Sheriff’s Office as we continue our search for Kiely.”
There are a flurry of online rumors but scant real clues in the case. Friends claim Kiely wanted to spend the night at the campsite, but she disappeared in the large gathering. Kiely, according to at least one witness, was too drunk for driving.

She wasn’t the best person or in the right frame of mind to drive. “She wouldn’t be able to drive if she tried,” said a friend. told CBS News. “So, my concern is that some one might have offered her to drive her home but didn’t actually take her home.”
Investigators claim they have had trouble getting witnesses statements because of the party-goers’ ages and underage drinking at the event.

Kiely, who is 5’7″ and 115 lbs, has hazel eyes, blonde hair and a nose-ring. Multiple piercings have been done on Kiely, as well as a 17-digit tattoo. Witnesses claim she was dressed in a green Dickies pant and a tank top at the party. California plates 8YUR127 are on the silver Honda CRV. Kiely’s family operates the Lost Trail Lodge in Truckee about a 12 mile drive from Prosser campground.
