THAILAND (TND) — One woman was left with four eyebrows A botched trip to Thailand’s budget tattoo shop resulted in a disappointing experience.
A report by Siam News, Nipapron, 32, was interested in getting a tattoo on her eyebrows to help prepare for a trip she and friends were planning.
I remember planning a trip with my friends and wanting new eyebrows to look pretty,” Meeking said. “A friend suggested a shop for me. After the procedure, I looked in the mirror and was speechless.”
According to the report, Meeking had two arches that were above her natural eyebrows. She paid 1,500 Thai baht (roughly $41).
Meeking wanted to remove her clogged brows, but she was unable to get in touch with the owner of the Rayong clinic.
Meeking said that her insecurity made it difficult to leave the house and hide for over a year. The report says that Meeking received a free fix from another tattoo artist, after she had read about it online.
Pattawee Phumkasem (32), removed Meeking’s eyebrows, and then gave her new eyebrows. This took 3 months, as the ink had to be removed before new tattoos could be applied.
“With (the help of) this new artist, I can finally live a normal life,” Meeking told Malay Mail.
