If the Dallas Cowboys win the Super Bowl this season, Post Malone will have to make room for an “88″ tattoo on his forehead.
Drew Pearson, Dez Bryant, and Michael Irvin made the promise at Wednesday dinner. Post told them he’d do the tat if the Dallas Cowboys win it all. Irvin documented it on Twitter.
The question that comes to my mind is: Is he able to sleep?
The Grapevine entertainer recently used some prime facial real estate to have his daughter’s initials inked just right of center on his forehead. The space remains between his eyebrows, and the center left side of his forehead. A tattoo artist could most likely etch an “88″ there without a problem.
Here’s our prediction of where the new piece would go, along with details on his existing face tattoos, the ones we know about:
Why did Post make this commitment to the Super Bowl?
Irvin explained to the group that if they reach the Super Bowl, then the Cowboys should recreate their Arizona party.
Malone upped the ante, saying he’d add another tattoo on his face if the Cowboys won.
“If the Cowboys win the Super Bowl, I get an ‘88′ on my forehead,” Malone told them.
Malone is a proud Cowboys supporter. His father, Rich Post, was an assistant director of food and beverage for the Cowboys’ organization.
Malone stopped by Dallas on Friday for the American Airlines Center’s Twelve Carat Tour. He’ll have shows in Austin and Houston before wrapping up the Texas leg of his tour Wednesday at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth.
Many of his loyal followers will show up wearing Cowboys gear, and faux-face tats. His AAC stop was marked by a No. 88, receiver CeeDee Lamb’s number, at times tucked into blue jeans.
Malone is covering his boyish visage with ink. In a 2020 interview, he said this. GQ Style:
“[The face tattoos do] maybe come from a place of insecurity, to where I don’t like how I look, so I’m going to put something cool on there so I can look at myself and say, ‘You look cool, kid,’ and have a modicum of self-confidence when it comes to my appearance.”
