Tokyotattoo, Cheltenham’s award-winning tattoo salon, has celebrated 10 years of operation.
The Courtyward studio in Montpellier started with just one artist. Now, six artists are employed and regular guests from all over the globe. The studio is home to up 20 artists per year.
Tokyotattoo founder Deano Jouni, has invested over £200,000 into the design and aesthetic side of the studio, and continues to look for ways to improve both the studio and customer experience.
Deano said: “I love tattoos, but I didn’t like tattoo parlours. Tokyotattoo Studios was founded 10 years ago. Fast forward to now and we’ve designed a studio with a visual style that transcends the clichés of the tattoo industry, alongside a team of world-class resident artists.”
To celebrate the anniversary, Tokyotattoo is holding a Celebrations & Collaborations day on Saturday November 5 from 12pm to 8pm. Sweeney Tom and some of Cheltenham’s most reputable local businesses will be there to provide refreshments.
Tokyotattoo will be providing tattoos without appointment.
You will find magicians, drag stars, DJs, special guests, as well as other entertainment.
Cheltenham BID awarded Tokyotattoo the Cheltenham Independent Business of the Year in 2018. You can also find it in tattoo magazines and at tattoo conventions.
