Kimberly Westgarth, client, is at NAAMA Studios in Marylebone, waiting to have her tattoo of Kanye West removed.
- NAAMA Studios, located in London’s Marylebone district, is offering a free service to help former Kanye West supporters get their tattoos removed.
- This included Kimberley Westgarth, who had her upper left arm inked with an image of West’s face, with tears of blood from his eyes two years ago.
- West’s populism has dropped since he caused outrage earlier in the month by declaring that he “loves” Nazis and admires Adolf Hitler.
Kimberley Westgarth claims she was disgusted at Kanye West’s recent anti-Semitic comments and is getting rid her tattoo of him.
The 24-year-old architecture student had her upper right arm inked two years ago with an image West’s face and tears of blood.
“I loved his music and, at the same time, I liked him as an individual. She told AFP that she liked his beliefs and how he supported the bipolar community.
“I idolized him at the time, but people change and I don’t want him on my skin.”
Ye, also known as West, caused outrage by declaring his “love” for Nazis and his admiration of Adolf Hitler earlier in the month.
His lengthy, rambling appearance on Alex Jones’ Infowars livestream with conspiracy theorist Alex Jones was a highlight of his long-running interview Twitter was officially launched.
It was the latest antisemitic comment to be made about the troubled former titan of fashion music and music’s commercial relationships.

Westgarth was hurt by the comments, because her Jewish best friend is Jewish.
However, she won’t spend a dime to have him tattooed. It’s free at NAAMA Studios, London’s exclusive Marylebone district.
She will receive 12 sessions of laser treatment throughout the year, under a program it has called “The Laser Program”. Second Chance.
Painful past
The goal of the initiative is to offer free removal of tattoos which have become a constant reminder or painful past.
These tattoos could depict gang membership or a stretch in prison.
This has been extended to Kanye West. About 100 people have reached out to NAAMA Studios via the NAAMA Studios website. WebsiteMelina Lawson, owner, agreed.
She said that two people were chosen and are now receiving treatment.
Lawson stated, “It’s a journey for clients, especially with any history of their tattoo, especially when you don’t like it or what it means to you anymore.”
It can be quite sensitive for clients, but they begin to see the benefits. They can actually see that it’s being eliminated. They could be anything.”
The total cost of removing a tattoo is on average £2 000 (R42k) but varies according to the size of the inking and the number of sessions required.
Lawson said that the social impact of a removal is more important than the money.
Westgarth said, “I was so happy.”
“I’ve been looking for it to be removed for about two months now, but everywhere was so costly.
“So, when I saw this opportunity, I jumped at it. It was free! I cannot thank them enough.
