Romy Van Tonder is the co-founder and organizer of SAITC. Zain Johnson talks to Romy.

She stated that the Convention’s aim is to bring together tattooists of many countries around the world, including South Africa.

These two events will feature 170 tattooists from 22 countries.

Each year we gather at the Waterfront, Cape Town, around the end of March. We are launching this year in Johannesburg, Newtown. This event will bring together tattoo enthusiasts and encourage them to share their passion.

Tattoo artists can choose from many different styles. This is why you should learn more about tattooing.

Van Tonder claims the South African contingent has represented quite some cities.

They come from different parts of the world, including Russia, Germany, and the USA.

Van Tonder answered a question about current tattoo trends and said that it was a personal choice.

Many clients request portraits or names of deceased pets.

For those with fewer tattoos, this is a big decision. It can be very difficult. It can often be a shared experience. It’s a great way to gain a lot from this exchange.

Van Tonder warns that tattoos should be considered a serious decision.

Do “Whatever You Do” and find a professional tattoo artist who will do a great work.

Some people may bring in tattoos, but they don’t have one. Professional artists would not advise this. Some tattoo shops do not respect the industry and culture. You can find someone who does it, but it’s not always the best.

The Convention is held to a high standard.
