Exploring The Thrills Of The 15th Athens Tattoo Convention 2023

Athens Tattoo Convention is returning this year on May 12, 13, and 14 at TAE KWON – DO in Palaio Faliro. The “best tattoo festival in the world” celebrates its 15th birthday with a spectacular event this year.

The festival, which began as an internal necessity of a group of people united by their love of the art and culture tattoos, has developed into an internationally renowned institution. It is now an annual global gathering of ink enthusiasts, with over 4,500 entries in 15 years and 600,000 participants.

This year, the vast urban party of the Athens Tattoo Convention will be even more enriched and will, of course, also have a lively character: 400 artists who are the infant gâté of tattoo artists from abroad and Greece compete and showcase their art with live tattooing and tattoo contests, while the parallel actions include: Dj sets, Live Bands, Food & Drinks, Art Exhibitions, Game Rooms, Graffiti Show, Bike and Skate Show, Kids Playground, Body Painting, Show Acrobatics and impressive fire performances by Tonia Banila.

RACK, a 22-year-old Greek rapper who has swept Greece in two years with awards and tours, will perform live on Saturday.

Since its inception, the Athens Tattoo Convention has supported the Make-A-Wish Organisation.

Through the STAR YO BODY initiative, where the visitor receives a tattoo with selected star designs, 100% of proceeds are donated to the organization, and the wishes of children who suffer from serious illnesses can be fulfilled.
